You may have heard Carol was out for several weeks due to health issues.

We are happy to say she is back, healthy and feistier than ever.   We appreciate your understanding when we were late in responding to inquiries or missed a message all together.

Running a business without a key person led to interesting insights.

During her time out of the studio both Carol and I experienced the day to day differently, but jointly realized how much our business has changed over the last two years and have new ideas on how we may best serve our clients going forward.

The challenges we see are; we need more time and attention devoted to our custom and large projects, uninterrupted think, design and overall management time.   And, how do we provide more of our popular glass blowing classes?

The biggest question, how do we do this without increasing our costs during a time that prices on energy and consumables are soaring?    Solution; manage our resources for maximum results.

Two changes that will be most apparent are new gallery hours and more classes.

Effective the week of February 21, 2022

the gallery will be open 11am to 6pm Thursday to Saturday

and by appointment Sunday to Wednesday.

 

Reserve a class………

Beginning in March we will add an additional day to teach Glass Blowing classes.  We add classes to the online calendar https://stoneandglass.com/book-a-class/ about every two weeks.   If we have last minute openings, we first notify the waitlist and then post the openings on social media.

If you have a gift certificate and have been unable to reserve a class, please reach out, we hold space for certificate holders and will accommodate you as quickly as possible.

Please contact us directly if you would like to reserve a class for a group of 3 or more.
