James is an ocean conservation artist, he delights in creating beautiful sea creatures and underwater scenes in glass.   Like many artists he had his comfort zone, his favorites have been fish, sea turtles, anenmone, reefs in glass and mixed media.

Thanks to one of favorite clients that wanted a glass octopus, he entered a journey not only of creation but understanding.   Octopus are illusive, curious creatures.     The process of making one in glass proved to be the same.   We experienced many failures before the first was delivered and continue to refine the process as we make more.

Our beautiful glass octopus will make their public debut at ArtWalk at Liberty Station on August 10, 2019
