Join us on Saturday, November 25, 2017 for Small Business Saturday. It’s a special event created so communities can celebrate and support small businesses like ours. Mark your calendars and plan to stop in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  We’ll have a lot going on and want you to take part. Stone and Glass is only one part of Small Business Saturday.  Escondido’s downtown merchants, restaurants, art galleries and museums are coming together to help you explore our neighborhood and discover Escondido’s hidden treasures.

On Saturday November 25 visit participating locations to pick up a passport, collect stamps in your passport as you shop, dine and explore.   Enter your completed passport for a chance to win.  Prizes are as unique as the businesses you will discover; original art, museum membership, glass blowing class, theater tickets and more.  Want a head start?  Download and print your passport here  Passport – Shop Small Escondido 25Nov2017

Have a great time please don’t forget to share your favorite Small Business Saturday moments on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag: #ShopSmall.

Goodies In Store

Our team will show off their skills on the hot glass floor. We are holding classes that Saturday.  If you’re interested, register now: // . Guests who are not registered in a class will have the opportunity to watch from the viewing area with light refreshments! If you can’t get into the class on November 25, do not despair! Come by and watch us blow. Teachers will be available to answer questions during class breaks. We can always get you into another class at another time. You can also see samples of what students make in class.

Know someone who’d love taking a class? Give it as a gift. Don’t forget to sign up for our giveaway. You can win a gift certificate for a free class.

Great Holiday Gifts

If you’re seeking unique gifts this holiday, Stone and Glass is the place to stop and shop. We will have season décor, including holiday ornaments, snowmen and menorahs. Drinking glasses are always very popular as gifts and include rocks, stemless wine and pilsner glasses. This year, we will introduce a new color series that will make it easier to buy and add to sets. James Stone says our glasses come with a special guarantee: “everything you drink will taste better in a hand blown glass.”

Our popular Mystery Gifts also go on sale starting on Small Business Saturday and are available only while supply lasts.  Mystery Gifts are items made in our studio; they are either discontinued pieces or glassware not considered first quality. The Mystery Gifts come in pre-wrapped packages ready for gift giving. You won’t know what is in the package, and the price represents at least a 50% discount on the items. Mystery Gifts are very popular for white elephant gift exchanges and office gifts. We have many clients that return annually for our Small Business Saturday event. One family has been buying Mystery Gifts for years. What started out with just the parents making these purchases became a family affair. Last year, the whole family came in and bought more than a dozen gifts to give away. (They also kept a few to open themselves.) We think this is a great tradition!

We look forward to seeing you Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 1 to 6 p.m. RSVP today
