With leaves and skies turning golden, winter drawing near, by golden fires light, autumn is finaly here. It is the perfect time to settle down in your favorite comfy chair with some poetry, smell the rich fall air and enjoy your favorite beverage in your Collectors Club glass.

Nothing Gold Can Stay – Robert Frost

Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold.  Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.   So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day.   Nothing gold can stay.

I cannot believe that this is the fifth edition of our Collectors Club.

The time is just whizzing by at an immeasurably fast pace. It seems like just yesterday Carol, Jon and I were working on designing our first month’s edition, Covid Blue. As we are approaching the final months of this year, I thought it only fitting to consider the last days of autumn light as a great design inspiration.

Have you ever noticed that during this time of the year the sunsets look different?

They are flooded with pinks and golds. Everything is in the final stages of wakefulness before the long winter sleep. We are hoping that we captured those final warm fall feelings in this art. This month’s glasses are indeed very special. All the colors in this issue are derived from precious metals, such as gold, copper and titanium. The colors are blended together and swirled to look like an autumn sunset.

Thanksgiving

This glass arrives as we celebrate Thanksgiving, a day for all to give thanks for our many blessings.  At Stone and Glass, our biggest blessing is that we get to come to work and create art.

Gift Subscriptions

Glasses ship the last week of each month.   If you are considering  purchasing the Collectors Club as a gift, please let us know when you would like the first glass to arrive and we will do our best to get it to the recipient on time.

One last thought,

we really do love to hear from you, our patrons, who have kept the fires burning at Stone and Glass thru these most difficult of times. So please find a reason, stop by for a visit, call us, drop us a line, we are family, just let us hear from you.  We wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings, may you be surrounded by your loved ones be it virtual or in your home.
